Hi there, glad you're here!I'm Kara. I live in the Peoria, Illinois area and have been an IBCLC (Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant) since 2010. I have worked in many capacities helping families. From health department to hospital to my current and favorite, private practice home visiting. I am married to a police officer and we have 6 awesome (breastfed!) kids. I travel throughout Illinois, visiting all types and kinds of families in their homes and providing current, evidence based and personalized lactation care. It's truly my honor to be allowed into homes during this sacred and special time and I'm privileged to help parents and babies reach the goals that they set for themselves. Can't wait to meet you!
